“Space Invaders” is a good game to represent Leigh Freund’s tenure as CEO of the NAI. Defending the advertising space against potential “invasive” regulation was one original goal of self-regulation. But, over the years those goals have shifted and there are new “aliens” to deal with for adtech like shifting identifiers, global laws, fast paced tv-tech and AI. Throughout it all, Leigh has led the NAI and navigated a lot of change. We discuss it all with one of our friends and a thoughtful leader in the adtech space!
