9:30-10:20 am

Mainstage 1 | Please Locate Your Nearest Exit: Exit Opportunities in 2024

We start with the end – given the current environment, what is the exit today? Our panel will overview exit options including what it takes to go public, navigating M&A, and fundraising dynamics for SaaS companies in today’s market.

10:30-11:00 am

Mainstage 2 | Double Click IPO

What does going public in the current market environment look like? How can the legal team best prepare the company for this path? After surveying the status of exit opportunities, we’ll double click into IPOs and hear from Chad Skinner (VP and General Counsel @ Cloudflare) on Cloudfare’s journey to becoming a publicly traded SaaS company.

11:10-11:40 am

Mainstage 3 | Double Click: M&A

If an IPO feels like IP-no, is strategic M&A an option? Given recent regulatory hurdles, what does the M&A landscape currently look like for SaaS companies? Our last session of Day 2 will highlight how GCs can best position their orgs for an M&A transaction within the current environment.

Keynote Address |
Ethics Unveiled: Corporate Responsibility in the GC Role

Join us for a keynote address by Patrick Radden Keefe, New York Times Bestselling Author of “Empire of Pain.” We’ll explore corporate responsibility, ethics, and the pivotal role of General Counsels in navigating complex legal landscapes. How can GCsidentify red flags, foster ethical practices, and steer their organization towards responsible decision-making in the face of challenging circumstances?

10:10-11:00 am

Mainstage 4 | The State of Security in SaaS

Many data-driven SaaS companies host massive amounts of data that is often highly regulated. Consequently, the biggest security risks and biggest focuses of negotiation can center around the management of that data. In light of this, what are the biggest security risks that we are seeing today? How can the legal team work with other business units to protect their org?

11:10-12:00 pm

Mainstage 5 | Responsible AI / AI: Is it Blockchain or GDPR?

It seems like AI and machine learning have quickly crept into our daily lives as well as our organizations’ daily operations – bringing a host of legal issues with them. With a landscape that is changing daily, how can legal teams address AI right now? Is it possible to incorporate AI responsibly, leaving internal teams, vendors, and customers comfortable?
